Y LIFT® is performed in one quick hour. Day of procedure we ask you to eat something light before you arrive, you are welcome to bring one friend along if they are interested in viewing your procedure. Once you arrive, you will be greeted by our guest service (or whatever we want to call the position) who will offer you a complimentary beverage, have you sign consents, and then you will be taken back by your nurse, who will cleanse your face, get your before pictures for your chart, and bring Dr Zelko in to start the magic. Dr Zelko measures and draws out your procedure, you get on the table (heated etc…..) Dr Zelko cleanses, numbs, and performs the Y LIFT®, which is typically 2 injection sites on cheek and jaw, he creates a space directly above the bone, below the tendon, and fills with HA, then places a steri strip over each injection point, which we ask you to keep on for 24 hours. You can apply makeup and continue normal activity the next day, with minimal discomfort and swelling.
There is no recovery time with the Y LIFT®. However, you may feel slight tenderness, soreness and possible minor bruising for a couple of days post procedure.
